Four of my (@kkateli's) most used presets (filters) for Instagram photos. Enhance any of your photos with these presets to create an airy and cohesive feed.

ABOUT THE PRESETS

MIRROR - brightens up mirror selfies to make your outfits stand out

NATURAL - my most used preset! a soft enhancement for any photos taken in natural light

SHADOW - sometimes you just can't get good lighting, but this filter saves your photos by lightening up the shadows

LAYOUT - make your flat lays pop! I usually lay out some items with a plainer background

My video tutorial that shows you how to install the filters, apply them, and other tips like planning my feed: https://youtu.be/Jv9Yy29SrVQ

HOW TO INSTALL

These are mobile presets so you'll need to download the free Lightroom CC app onto your phone to install them. No subscription is required!

~ Installing via iPhone:

1. After you check out, use your phone to click on the download links in your email to download the presets.

2. It should bring you to Safari, where you'll wait for it to download. Once ready, click on the ZIP and it should open up the "Files" app.

3. Click on the zip file to open up a folder named "KATE LI @kkateli PRESETS". Click the folder then save the 4 .dngs to your phone’s camera roll. From your camera roll, the photos will look like blank white squares, but don't worry, they should look like that!

4. Open up the Lightroom CC app and import the 4 blank squares. They should then change from blank square to images you might recognize from my Instagram.

5. Click on one of the photos to open it. Click on the three dots on the upper right hand corner, then “Create Preset” to save the preset, naming it whatever you want. This saves the settings of my photo so you can apply them quickly like filters to any of your own pics!

6. Repeat this process for the remaining files.

~ Installing via other devices:

1. After you check out, click on the download links in your email to download the presets.

2. Double click on the zip file on your computer to open up a folder with the presets.

3. Email or AirDrop the .dng files to your phone and save them to your phone’s camera roll. From your camera roll, the photos will look like blank white squares, but don't worry, they should look like that!

4. Open up the Lightroom CC app and import the four white squares. They should then become images you might recognize from my Instagram.

5. Click on one of the photos to open it. Click on the three dots on the upper right hand corner, then “Create Preset” to save the preset, naming it whatever you want. This saves the settings of my photo so you can apply them quickly like filters to any of your own pics!

6. Repeat this process for the remaining files.

HOW TO USE PRESETS

1. Once you have the presets all created in your Lightroom CC app, it's time to try it on your photos. Import your photo, click to open, then scroll all the way to the end of the bottom bar until you reach "Presets". My presets should be saved there under the name you gave them.

2. Click "Presets" then click the one you want to apply. Feel free to try the different ones to see which will match best. Just like any filter, your photo might need some adjusting after you apply it. You can change the exposure, highlights, shadows, temperature, and color mix to whatever works best for your image.

Just was I was looking for!

I saw that there were no reviews so I thought I’d make one! :) I saw Kate’s YouTube video about her presets and they are so pretty and she explained them so well! I’ve been looking for some natural presets so I can create a better looking insta feed! These will definitely help! Thank you!! :) P.S here is a pic using one of the presets!
